The Product
Bluejay is a powerful web-based tool built for internal sales reps working alongside Five9 to close pest control sales. Reps can search and view customer history—including past appointments, subscriptions, and notes—and manage the entire sales flow. This includes selecting services and add-ons, adjusting pricing, and sending customers a personalized link to complete the sign-up process. The tool includes a live progress tracker, allowing reps to guide customers through each step, from payment to scheduling, while also giving the flexibility for customers to complete it on their own. Bluejay centralizes everything a sales rep needs to close deals efficiently and confidently.

The Problem
Before Bluejay, the internal sales process was fragmented and inefficient. Sales reps had to juggle multiple systems that didn’t integrate smoothly with Five9, making it harder to manage customer information and complete sign-ups in real time. The only customer-facing step was signing a contract, with no way for reps to guide customers through the full sales flow. On top of that, the company was relying on a costly third-party platform to fill these gaps—adding complexity and expense without delivering a seamless experience.

The Goal
The goal was to create a seamless, all-in-one internal sales tool that fully integrates with Five9 and empowers reps to manage the entire sales process in one place. We aimed to give reps real-time visibility into customer activity, streamline the signup flow, and introduce a shared experience where both reps and customers could move through the process together—improving efficiency, transparency, and conversion. Additionally, we wanted to eliminate the need for expensive third-party tools by building a custom solution tailored to the team’s exact workflow.
Design Approach
I focused on designing a streamlined experience that supports sales reps while also keeping the customer in view. The flow was built to reduce friction—making it easy to look up customer history, customize plans, and send out sign-up links with confidence. A progress indicator was introduced to give reps real-time visibility into where the customer is in the flow, helping guide conversations and reduce confusion.
On the front-end side, I worked on building responsive, modular components that made the experience feel fast and seamless. Key features like appointment selection, pricing adjustments, and customer progress tracking were engineered for flexibility—allowing both reps and customers to interact with the system simultaneously across devices.
